You can get many great products for wrinkles over the counter. There are many wrinkle cream that you can get that you don’t need to visit a doctor, there are many great products that you can buy at your local department store. But once you get to that store you will wonder which wrinkle cream will work the best, there will usually be many choices to chose from. When choosing a great cream, you will want to look for certain ingredients.

There are several ingredients that work better than others and are proven by science to reduce and minimize lines. One of the ingredients is retinol which is a vitamin A compound. This is found in many of the over the counter anti wrinkle creams. It has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration in treating and fighting wrinkles.  You want to be sure that this ingredient is in your anti wrinkle creams if you buy one over the counter.

HYDROXY ACIDS

Hydroxy Acids is an active ingredient that is used to fight wrinkles. Hydroxy Acids will remove dead skin from the upper layer of your skin and allow the new younger looking skin to emerge.  The new skin that will emerge will be smoother and appear to have fewer wrinkles and it will minimize the appearances of the smaller skin surfaced wrinkles.

There are many other ingredients that can appear in an anti wrinkle cream or lotions that will also help remove and erase the look of wrinkles, but these are two of the most common ingredients that are proven to work well.  If your wrinkle cream doesn’t have Hydroxy Acids, then it may not work as effectively as you want it to work.

You don’t have to buy the most expensive name brand lotion or creams to have an effective product. Even store name brands of creams and lotions use these same ingredients. What you want to look for is the ingredients not the name on the product.

You don’t have to look your age if you don’t want to.  Preventing wrinkles is easier than treating wrinkles, one of the best ways to prevent wrinkles is to keep your skin clean and moisturized.  This will save you a lot of time and money when you get older and wrinkles start to appear.  Start young when preventing wrinkles.
